My name is Lieve Heyrman, and I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Marketing at KU Leuven (Belgium). My research interests center on how consumers, brands, and retailers navigate disruption, ranging from global crises and regulatory interventions to the emergence of new intermediaries in the retail ecosystem. My goal is to deliver rigorous insights that inform better decisions for managers and policymakers in increasingly volatile markets. Methodologically, I apply advanced panel and time series modeling techniques alongside quasi-experimental methods to provide robust evidence of causal effects.
Beyond academia, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, exploring nature on foot or by bike, and testing the limits of gardening on a ten-square-foot balcony.
Thanks again for visiting! I would be happy to connect.
